Session Outline
After you’ve been matched with a tutor, you’ll almost be ready for your next session! Keep in mind that the session begins right at the booked time. This allows our tutors to help the most students as possible, therefore no refunds are provided for missed time due to late arrivals or early stops.
To make sure you are getting the most out of our session, we encourage students to come prepared with questions or sections they want help with.
Tutors will go through the concepts with students, but will not complete assignments or exams for them. Please note that tutors will always keep student information confidential.
Booking
To book a session with us, just send us an email with your preferred dates and times and we’ll get back to you with an invoice. Once you’ve sent us the due payment (see more details below), we’ll book the sessions in and that’s it!
Payments
We work on a package system, which means you pay for 4 hours at a time. The total amount for each package is determined by the session type and grade of the student. This amount can be found on each invoice.
Payments are due 48 hours in advance of the package start date. These payments must be made through e-transfer, directed to info@booksmartutoring.com.
Cancellations
You can cancel a tutoring session with a full refund if you give us at least 48 hours of notice. Otherwise, full payment is due for the booked session. To cancel an appointment, please email admin@booksmartutoring.com.
If the tutor is unable to attend a session, you will be notified as soon as possible. A replacement session will be booked.
